MUSICIAN NEEDED FOR WARM FRONT FILM PRODUCTIONS, SYDNEY

Looking for a Talented musician who will compose and perform back ground music for our low budget feature film. He or she has to reside and has a music studio in Sydney, Australia. The film will be shot in Sydney in late 2007. The movie is about a genuine love story (not romance, pure care like between father and daughter or uncle and niece) between two lonely people - 'Martina' - a ten year old girl in the street and 'Jun' - a lonely, single man in his late thirties who lost his job - in Sydney. The music should be excellent, beautiful, emotional and touching - like Chopin's music or like the music in the movie 'The Professional(Leon)', 'Tien-mi-mi(Comrade, Almost Love Story)', "Forbidden Games' and 'As Good As it Gets'. TRICON FILMS AND TELEVISION LOOKING FOR MOMS IN BANDS, NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES/NASHVILLE

Rocker Moms takes an close look into the fast paced lives of moms who have brought loud music and live performances into there homes and to the stage, while raising a family. We tour back stage and behind the scenes discovering the sometimes glamorous, sometimes strenuous reality of rock music, and bringing up kids in today’s world.

Auditions will be held in the following cities: May 19, in New York, May 22 in Los Angeles, May 24 in Nashville. Rocker Moms is looking for:
* People who are confident in possessing strong overt personalities.

DISNEY CRUISE LINE MUSICAL AUDTIONS, NEW YORK

June 4th, Open Male Dancer Audition at 10: 00 AM, Open Disney Costumed Characters and Face Character Look-a-likes Audition at 11:30 AM, Open Musical Theatre Vocalist Audition at 1:00 PM Ripley- Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave Suite 16. Disney Cruise Line is seeking talented and versatile musical theater performers for mainstage productions on their luxury cruise ships in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Dancer audition: Male, need for male ensemble dancers who can sing on key. Disney Costumed Characters and Face Character Look-Alikes - Females 4'9" to 5'8". Males 6' to 6'2". Must have dance training. A dance combination will be taught. Vocalist audition: Need for male & female musical theatre principle vocalist, must move well and have acting ability. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Rehearsals are held in Toronto. Contracts are approximately 7-9 months and include competitive pay, room and board, and no cruise staff duties.

Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave, between 36th and 37th Sts, 16th Floor IntraMusic Theatricals, Inc. is casting its 2007-2008 non-union tour of The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley and Frankly Ben (Flat Stanley music & lyrics by Brian Louiselle, book by Timothy A. McDonald, based on the book "Flat Stanley" by Jeff Brown, illustrations by Scott Nash, directed by Timothy A. McDonald, choreographed by Steven G. Kennedy; Frankly Ben music & lyrics by Stephen Gabriel, book by Timothy A. McDonald, directed by Marty Johnson, choreographed by Steven G. Kennedy). Casting by Dave Clemmons Casting (Joy Dewing). Rehearsals begin September 14, 2007; tour opens October 15, 2007 and is booked through May 18, 2008. Flat Stanley and Frankly Ben will be performed in rotation by the same cast. SEEKING: Versatile, energetic male and female actors who sing and move well, 18 and up, all types and ethnicities, with a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus) to play several different characters, including: The Adventures of Flat Stanley: Flat Stanley - Male or Female to play 10-year-old boy, high tenor or alto. Young pop/contemporary musical theatre sound. Brilliant comedic actor (especially physical comedy), good looking, likeable and boyish. Redhead a plus but not necessary. Skills or experience in puppetry a plus; Mr. Lambchop/Dr. Quack/Etc. - Baritenor, character voices. Must contrast physically with Flat Stanley. Excellent singer, brilliant comedic actor. Roles includes Groucho Marx-like psychiatrist, Mr. Lambchop and many others; must be versatile, zany, and have a great sense of humor; Three Actors to play various characters, including Mrs. Lambchop, Arthur Lambchop (Stanley's Brother), Corky (a bulletin board), Mail Carrier, Cool Kids, etc. - Strong singers with character voices and excellent comedic skills, including facility with physical comedy. ESPECIALLY SEEKING Flat Stanley. Frankly Ben: Young Ben Franklin - Male to play 15-year-old Ben Franklin. Cool 'rock and roll' look. Tenor with Rock belt. Smart, inventive and mischievous; Poor Richard - Male, early 20s-30s. Legit Baritone/Tenor. Always practical, Richard's common sense philosophy helps keep everyone on track even if they don't always understand what he's saying. Ability to Rap is a plus; Silence Dogood - Female, any ethnicity, early 20's -30's, matronly. Alto or Soprano, possibly a gospel singer. Prides herself on having achieved a virtuous moral character. She has a strong sense of civic duty and doesn't understand anyone not similarly inclined. Alice Addertongue - Female, any ethnicity, early 20's-30's. Alto with Pop belt. She loves to go against the grain. She's smart, sarcastic, and knows who she is. Polly Hewson - Female, any ethnicity, early 20's. Ben's love interest. Alto with Pop belt. Hip, very cool. Please prepare 16 bars of a traditional musical theatre song and a contemporary pop song with sheet music in the appropriate key that shows off range and personality, and bring your book. All auditioning MUST bring sheet music for a piano accompanist and a current headshot/resume, stapled together. All positions are paid and no technical or driving responsibilities will be required.
