On September 14, Sherwood Oaks Experimental College in Los Angeles presents "The TV Writers Experience," geared to help those trying to break into writing for television through hosted session with industry brass. The Malibu International Film Festival, opening September 16 in Malibu, has an array of activity including an opening night party and fashion show. Hollywood notables will gather at Mondrian's Asia De Cuba and Skybar on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles for the Entertainment Tonight Emmy Party on September 19. The IFP Film Market is an ideal showcase for new features, works-in-progress, shorts, and scripts, and happens September 19-24 in New York. The goal of L.A. Office Roadshow is to help companies of any size add entertainment into their marketing programs when they have their run September 21-23 at various locations in Hollywood. The Americana Music Conference & Awards at the Nashville Convention Center runs from September 23-25. The 26th edition of the Aspen Film Festival honors actor-producer Michael Douglas at an award ceremony during its run from September 28 to October 3.
