SEEK SHORT FILMS

ANF Short Film Collective seeks short films and work-in-progress from emerging filmmakers to be showcased at NY Perks 193 Smith Street, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. The collective will take place on June 6 & July 11 at 6:45 p.m., and will continue through 2005. Film running length: 5-25 minutes. The mission of this showcase is to give filmmakers a public venue for their work so they can receive feedback on and support for their projects. Will also be exposed to a networking community including businessmen, film fans, producers, and fellow filmmakers. Each event will showcase 4-6 shorts and end with a brief question and answer session. This event is made possible by ActNow Foundation, a not-for-profit theatre and film company. New York City based Film in the City is currently seeking Short Film Submissions for its monthly new popular signature program "FITC Industry Nights "SESSIONS". FITC Industry Nights is a monthly program which showcases the latest Short films by directors from around the country.

FITC Industry Nights is a high profile film event which enables each filmmaker to showcase their latest film to the entertainment industry. The FITC Industry Nights programs are always sold out events. If you are looking for a high profile venue to showcase your film,you don't want to miss out on this opportunity.

1) FITC is Currently Only Accepting Shorts Submissions for the FITC Industry Nights Salon.

At the Fifth Annual Santa Fe Screenwriting Conference on June 1-5 in Santa Fe, you can not only choose from over thirty 90-minute workshops, screenwriting competitions and pitch sessions, you can also relax at the Margarita Poolside Party featuring Hector Pimentel, guitarist, performing Classical and Flamenco. The annual Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival, running June 3-5 in Oklahoma City, looks to promote an awareness of the diversity of the many Native American cultures. MTV Movie Awards are set to tape June 4 at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Center in Los Angeles, and air June 9 with Jimmy Fallon hosting. Novelist Thom Racina and writer/producer Tracy Torme will speak on making the transition from writing for film and TV to writing novels, and the importance of mastering more than one medium, and tips for becoming a producer, respectively at the monthly meeting of Alameda Writers Group, June 4 in Glendale. The 59th Annual Tony Awards will be presented at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 5.
