MEDIA FOR HUMAN RIGHTS SEEKS MUSIC COMPOSER FOR DOCUMENTARY, NEW YORK

We are currently in post-production of an independent documentary meant for US and international screening. We are looking for someone to compose some music for the documentary pertaining to a human rights issue. We are utilizing the power of the media and documentaries to create awareness about human rights and open a space for tolerance and discussion. The guide music we currently have is a fusion of Middle Eastern/electronic music but we are open to various styles as long as it works. The job is currently on a deferred payment basis. Once financial backing arrives and initial expenses recouped, we definitely plan to pay the composer. We are interested in hiring someone who is looking for a break in the industry. Someone who is open to collaboration and passionate about his/her music. Preferably someone who is starting out and wants to get his/her name out there. The person will receive credit on the documentary (DVD, video, cinema screening, etc.), a copy of the documentary, and a great recommendation...AND potentially future work in succeeding projects.
