Casting for the New York University student short film "Starfish." Director: Nahuel. This will be a comic book movie in a very literal sense (the screen will have panels that come alive). Starfish is about an unnamed masochistic vigilante who suffers from posttraumatic stress disorder. He is attempting to cope with the fact that he accidentally killed a little girl in his attempt to save her from a gang and that the public never realized that he was her murderer not her hero. Vigilante: 25-30. Male. Must look as if they have pumped their body full of steroids. The actor must be prepared to be able to fight, lift a man into the air and have a mental breakdown.
