The singers are now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was. Singing in the closest of harmony, the boys perform songs such as "Catch a Falling Star," "Chain Gang," "Rags to Riches," "Love is a Many Splendored Thing," "Three Coins in the Fountain," and "Lady of Spain." Seeking: All roles are men in their 20s. Francis: Lyric baritone/second tenor. Leader of the group. Confident, humble. Sparky: Baritone. The group clown, a real jokester with a big heart. Jinx: High tenor. The shy member of the group; terrified of performing. Has it in him to be more than he appears. Smudge: Bass. The worrier of the group. Easily confused. A "diamond in the rough."

After fifteen-year-old Anne causes the deportation of her maid Sofia, Sofia's fifteen-year- old son, Miguel, must decide whether to remain in the country or to leave it behind like his mother. CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS: ANNE WRIGHT, 13-18, Caucasian, classy, poised to sneer at the world; once a bookworm, she has abandoned her former intellectual pursuits to follow fashion trends and secure her popularity. FIONA WRIGHT, mid 30s to mid 40s, Caucasian, a working professional mom; hides the pain of her divorce from her daughter; a habitual smoker, though she would never admit it; practical, considers housekeeping a waste of her time. MIGUEL BUSTOS, 13-18, Hispanic, must be fluent in Spanish and English; unsure about his presence in the United States; quiet and patient, but willing to stand up for himself when provoked. SOFIA BUSTOS, early 30s to late 40s, Hispanic, must be fluent in Spanish, speaks English with a heavy accent; a caring mother; after years of working as a maid, she continues to hope for a better life. Ivan Shumaker is casting the short film "Poptart," to be filmed in San Francisco. A charismatic delinquent befriends an ambitious rebel who becomes his guide as they set out to take revenge on a corporation that has wronged them both. Ernie is isolated social misfit that has the innocence, sincerity, and awe of the world as a child would. He is obsessed with Hip hop and the death of his mother. His attitude is quite bipolar when it comes to the two subjects, ranging from quiet, small muffles to energetic, hysteric rants. When he is happy he is contagious, when sad, unbearable and vulgar. From an audience perspective Ernie is sympathized with but deeply tormented. Marlon is a confidant, manipulative and cunning man in his twenties. Marlon is very stylish and suave.
