Crimson Chain Productions is casting for the feature film, "Flanking the Sentinel," shooting in Mount Airy/ Frederick County, MD. Director: Adam Frey. Synopsis: 'Flanking The Sentinel' (current working title), is a Civil War based historical fiction. A very fast-paced production - Shooting starts at the end of June and runs thru July, with a few makeup dates in late August and September. Shooting on the weekends only. CASTING FLANKING THE SENTINEL, FEATURE FILM, MARYLAND
If you have never acted before, do not apply for this film - this film is too intense for beginners. The schedule is extremely fast-paced, and the entire film takes place outside. So, thusly, we need professionals who can perform under pressure AND in the heat of summer. We are an Independent Film Company, but cannot meet the SAG or AFTRA standards. We will pay actors a meager sum, as well as feed them on set. You may be asking yourself, "I wonder how much they're paying?" Let's put it like this: If you're worried about the money, it's probably not enough for you! We are doing this as a Labor of Love only; we love to make films, and work hard at our craft. Seeking: Two Males, 20s - 30s. We are looking for (reasonably local) male actors with a castable age of 20s to 30s to play the two main characters. The actors should be lean, but not necessarily "buff". The roles will be tough to play (it's a tragic drama), so if you're ready for an acting challenge, this is your chance!
